Privacy Policy

Meraki Digital ("we", "us") operates the utm-qr event RSVP platform on behalf of music venues and event organizers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you RSVP for an event through one of our QR-code-based RSVP pages, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

When you complete an RSVP form on a page we host (typically at qr.meraki-digital.com or a similar subdomain), we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address (if provided)
• Your mobile phone number (if provided — optional)
• The number of people in your party
• The event and venue you RSVPed for, and the time of your submission

We do not collect payment information through the RSVP flow. Any tips or payments are processed by a third-party payment processor (Stripe) under their own privacy policy.

How we use your information

• To record your reservation for the event you are RSVPing to, and to share that record with the event organizer or venue.
• To send you a confirmation by email (if you provided one) and, separately, by SMS (if you provided a mobile number — see SMS Notification Policy).
• To notify the event organizer that you have RSVPed, so they can plan capacity and seating.

We do not sell or rent your information. We do not use your information for advertising. We do not contact you about events other than the one you RSVPed for, unless you have separately opted in to additional contact from the venue.

SMS messages

If you provide a mobile phone number when you RSVP, you consent to receive one transactional SMS confirmation for that specific RSVP. SMS is sent via AWS End User Messaging (Amazon Web Services, Inc.) from a US toll-free number registered to Meraki Digital. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and request help by replying HELP. For full SMS terms see our SMS Notification Policy.

Service providers

We rely on the following service providers to operate the RSVP platform:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — for application hosting, data storage (DynamoDB), email delivery (Amazon SES), and SMS delivery (AWS End User Messaging).
• Stripe — for tip / payment processing where applicable.

Data retention

RSVP records are retained for the lifetime of the campaign plus 24 months for the organizer's records and reconciliation. You may request deletion at any time by emailing the address below.

Your choices

• SMS opt-out: reply STOP to any message you receive from us.
• Email opt-out: use the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or contact us.
• Access, correction, or deletion: email us at greg@meraki-digital.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The utm-qr platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Most venues we serve have age restrictions enforced at the door.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
