SMS Notification Policy

This policy describes the Travis Personal Assistant SMS program operated by Meraki Digital LLC. It is distinct from the RSVP SMS program described at /sms-policy.html, which uses a different sender and a different opt-in mechanism.

Program description

The Travis Personal Assistant SMS program sends and receives conversational text messages to assist authorized internal users with task management, calendar coordination, briefings, and reminders. Messages are sent from a US toll-free number registered to Meraki Digital LLC and delivered via Twilio.

Sender

All Travis SMS originates from +1 (844) 523-3414.

How to enroll

Users authorize the Travis program by submitting the opt-in form at /travis/opt-in.html. The form requires an affirmative checkbox indicating consent to receive conversational SMS. Internal users may also be authorized in person by the program operator; in both cases the consent is recorded with the user's phone number, timestamp, and the consent text version they agreed to.

What you'll receive

A proactive morning briefing once per day summarizing schedule and pending tasks.
Reminders for events the operator has scheduled, sent at user-configured intervals before the event.
Conversational replies in response to inbound SMS from the authorized user.
Occasional proactive notifications when time-sensitive events require immediate attention.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on user activity and configured preferences. A typical day involves 1–10 messages. High-activity days may involve more; quiet days may involve fewer.

Keywords

STOP — reply STOP to any message and we will halt all outbound SMS from this program. You may opt back in at any time by submitting the opt-in form again.

Carriers and delivery

SMS messages are sent through Twilio from a US toll-free number registered to Meraki Digital LLC. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most US mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Supported devices

Any SMS-capable mobile phone on a supported US carrier.

Privacy

Your phone number is collected and used as described in our Privacy Policy. We never sell, rent, or share phone numbers with third parties.

Consent records and retention

Consent records (phone, timestamp, consent text version) are retained in Meraki Digital's internal audit system. See /travis/consent-log.html for how to request a copy or revoke consent.

Changes to this policy

We may update this SMS Notification Policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
